RESULT OF RETRIAL
VERDICT OF ACQUITTAL The caso of Albert Richard Abbott, boilermaker, with indecent assault on a girl aged]at Frankton on October 22, was retried before Mr. Justice Callan and a jury in the Supreme Court yesterday. A jury had disagreed on this cliargo last Thursday, and a new trial was ordered. Mr. Hubble conducted the prosecution, and Mr. Finlay and Mr. Holinden appeared for the defence. The jury after an absence of less than an hour brought in a verdict of not guilty, ancl accused was discharged.
