ADJOURNMENT OF INQUEST An inquest into the death of John Hughes, a railway surfacemen, aged 58, married, with 1-3 children, of Hiintly South, who died in the A nckland Hospital on Saturday, alter being injured when struck ,bv a train at Mercer on February 7, was opened yesterday. After evidence of identification had hpen given, the coroner, Mr. I'. K. Hunt, S.M., adjourned the inquest.
