PRESENTATION TO MR. RHIND Appreciation of the services to the Auckland Golf Club of Mr. A. E. M. Rhintl, Mho recently resigned for health reasons from the position of secretary after a term of 18 years, was expressed yesterday afternoon at a gathering of many of his friends within the club. The president of the club, Mr. A. W. Gillies, and Mr. W. B. Colbeck. both referred to the excellence of Mr. lihind's work, and Mr. Gillies made him a presentation of a silver salver -Mr. Rhind said he greatly regretted giving up his position as secretari'. »
