FLOWER SOCIETY
A challenge cup was presented at the monthly meeting of the Auckland Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society for competition in the amateur section of the Agricultural and Pastoral Association's dahlia show on February 25 and 26. The competition for the Danby and Finer Memorial Cup was fixed for March 16, and it was decided to conduct field day visits to the dahlia gardens of Messrs. W. F. Sutton and P. R. Mc-Mahon and the Auckland railway station gardens on March 19. The society also proposes to combine with the Auckland Horticultural Society in a dahlia week, from February 28 to March 5.
