AMERICAN'S FINE RECORD The most remarkable boxer, and definitely the greatest freak seen in tho boxing ring in Alitalia was the American Jew boy, Harry Self stein, or as lie was known in that country, "Hop Harry" Stone, In a CfIJW extending over 20 years, Stone fought some of the world's best fighters in different divisions, including Abo Attell. Jack Britton, J£id Graves, Johnny Summers, Matt Wells, Pal Brown, Jerry I)elaney, Owen Bio ran, and last, but not least, Ted (Kid) Lewis. Although never heavier than 10st., the redoubtable Stone fought his way through tho lighter divisions, until he was forced to meet middle-weights and heavy-weights. He finished his active connection with the ring after contesting over 500 fights, and no one eould malio him surrender. Stone claims a record that is almost unbelievable. "I never lost a fight on a foul, por was I knocked out or even down in any of my 500 odd fights," he said.
