WAIKATO ELECTORATE MEMBERSHIP NEARING 2500 [from oub own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Frid*y The central committee organising for the National Party in the Waikato electorate has carried out extensire work, and now the full complement of 28 branches has been attained. Meetings have been held in all parts of the electorate, being attended in practically every case by Messrs. Edgar James (chairman) and Alan R. Hill (secretary) .

It had been decided that the candidate should selected until 2000 financial members had been secured in the electorate. Waikato is now! approaching 2500. and it is desired to have the candidate in the field as soon as possible. Branches are engaged. in appointing their representatives to the selection committee, which will make the final choice.
