The Hon. H. G. R. Mason, Minister of Justice, arrived from Wellington by ' air yesterday. Sir Harold Beauchamp was a passenger for Wellington by the afternoon express yesterday. Mr. L. Hickforcl, of Okato, has been \ appointed a, member of the District Rural Intermediate Credit Board. Mr. Qr Jj. Brett, of Gordonton, has f been elected as the Fanners' Union representative on the Waikato Pig Council. Mr. G. T. Charroan, chief radio operator for Pan American Airways in New Zealand, will sail by the M'onterey on Monday for the United States, on holiday leavo.

Mr. C. A. Deuxberry will leave tomorrow by the limited express to attend the conciliation council as one of the two Auckland employers' assessors in the Dominion clerical workers' dispute. Mr. G. D. Lishman, London representative of the Sew Zealand Tourist Department, will arrive by the Tainui on February 28 on two months' leave. He will travel through New Zealand before returning. Mr. A. R. Roland, managing direotor of W. and R. Fletcher (N.Z.), Limited, left on his return to Welling, ton by the limited last night. From there he will sail for Australia, whence he proposes to- fly to England.

Mr. Percy E. Bradstock, of Freetown, Herefordshire, is a passenger by the Rangitiki, which is due in Auckland on February 10. Mr. R. J. Wv Hall, branch m' iger of the State" Advances Corporation at New Plymouth, has been appointed district intermediate credit supervisor for the Taranaki rural intermediate credit district.
