SOVIET PROTEST
SEQUESTRATION OF FUNDS ITALIAN COURT'S RULING (Received January 30, 7.10 p.m.) ROME. Jan. 29 The Russian Embassy has formally protested to the Italian Foreign Office against the decision of the Milan Court to sequestrate the funds of the Soviet commercial delegation on the application of the Ansaldo Steel Works. The latter applied for an injunction regarding £274,000, on the grounds that tho Russian Government had not paid the amount alleged to be due for motors and other material used in the construction of tho Soviet's torpedo boat Tashkent. .
