OKARITO DIVIDEND The Okarito Five-Mile Beach Gold Dredging Company, Limited, has declared a dividend of 7 per cent, payable 011 March 1, according to information received by the Auckland Stock Exchange. The company operates a claim in South Westland. The last payment, made in April, 1937, was equal to 6 2-3 per cent. YIELDS OF COMPANIES Goldfiekls Dredging (Central Otago)< —looz. 19d\vt. for 126 hours. Golden Dawn (Owharoa). —For fortnight ended January 22, 210 tons of ore were treated for return of £664, gold valued at £7 2s an oz. ELECTROLYTIC ZINC RETURN Production of the Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australasia, Limited, for the four weeks ended January 12 was as follows, figures for the preceding four weeks being given in parentheses:— Zinc, 5370 (5369) tons; of which was used at the works, 90 (90) tons; silver lead product, lead, 200 (275) tons; silver, 25,900 (29,750) oz. The West Coast mine's figures were: —Ore treated, 5440 (12,419) tons; lead concentrates, 419 (927) tons; zinc concentrates, 1888 (4199) tons. The West Coast mine was shut down for two weeks for the Christrmas period. MOUNT MORGAN YIELD [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday The Mount Morgan, Limited, production report for the period ended January 26, covering five weeks' operations, is as follows: —Ore mined, 72,500 tons; ore treated by sulphide plant, 37,600 tons; oxidised, 32,460 tons. Drive south on No. 4 reef driven 2ft. This work is being done to hole through to the drive north on No. 2 reef for ventilation.
