APPEAL FOR FUNDS
NEWCASTLE STRIKERS SYDNEY, Jan. 28 The strikers at Lysaght's iron works, Newcastle, contemplate soliciting funds from other States, and also from New Zealand. Arising out of ■ a dispute regarding wages early this month, 1-100 workers at the factory served a fort night's strike notice on their employers, and ceased work last Monday.
