NEW ZEALAND VICTORY • (Received January 29, 12.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 2S The New Zealand women cricketers to-day defeated the strong Northern Metropolitan team at Chatswood. They won on the first innings by G8 runs. Miss Hatcher played a stylish innings. The team gained valuable batting practice for the more important matches to come next week.
