The Tutaekuri River, on the Napier-Hastings road, in flood after rising 12ft. above its normal level following torrential which caused flooding throughout Hawke's Bay early this week. On the left is the new Waitangi railway bridge with the traffic bridge on the right. The old, partly demolished railway bridge is in the centre.
