TEST CRICKET TEAM
AUSTRALIAN SELECTION
ANNOUNCEMENT THIS MONTH
The Australian test cricket team for England will probably be announced after the meeting of the Board of Control in Melbourne on January 27. The three selectors, Messrs. D. G. Bradman, W. J. Johnson and E. A. Dwyer, will watch the New South Wales—Victoria match which will be played in Sydney from January 21 to 25. Tlloy will submit the 16 names to the Board of Control in Melbourne. There will be three more Sheffield Shield matches before the selection of the team. They are as follows: —January 14 to 18, Victoria v. Queensland, in Brisbane; January 15 to 19, South Australia v. New South Wales, in Sydney; January 21 to 25, Victoria v. New South Wales, in Sydney.
