BIRRELL.-rOn January 11, 1938, at a private hospital, Jessie Oswald, loved widow of Robert Mac Duff Blrrell, of 71 Williamson Street, Epsom, formerly of Gisborne; ajred 83 years. Funeral will leave Watney Sibun 4 Sons' chapel, Khyber Pass, Newmarket, at 1 p.m. to-day (Wednesday) for Hillsborough Cemetery.

OIQGENS. —On January 11, 1038, at the Auckland Hospital, Harry Wilmott, beloved busband of tho late Annie Diggens, and loved father of Will, Mount Wellington; (late of Green Lane); aged 77 years. Funeral leaves the chapel of Arthnr Holmes, Abbotsford Street, Newmarket, for Hillsborough Cemetery, to-morrow (Thursday), at 10.30 a.m.

HINDMAN. —On January 11, 1038. at Auckland Hospital, Robert, loved husband of the late Elizabeth Hindman, of 15 Spring Street. Ponsonby. and father of Robert John; aged 72 years.
