CHILD'S DANGER
SAVED BY YOUNG MEN Asleep in burning bed SMOKE NOTICED FROM STREET [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] GISBOS.XE, Monday Three young men going home about midnight on Saturday noticed smoke issuing from the home of Mr. E. Croskery, Ormond Road, and on investigating they discovered a child asleep in a smouldering bed. The other occupants of the house were not aware of the danger and were aroused only when the young men entered the room and took the child to safety. Mr. Croskery and his three helpers had no difficulty in extinguishing the fire, which was confined to the bed.
