WHANGAREI DEFENCE CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday A shoot was held ut tho Whareora, range by the Whangaroi Defence Rifle Club during the week-end. D. E. Wilson made top score, 05, and he also secured a win in tho Rose Bowl series with 49 at 300 yards. G. Neville secured a win in tho Fischer Shield series, with 'lB at 500 yards. Scores were:—D. E.
