QUEBEC SURVEY PARTY i SUBSISTENCE ON; RABBITS SIX WEEKS BEFORE RESCtJE (Received January 4, 5.5 p.m.) QUEBEC. Jan. 3 After subsisting for six weeks by shooting 14 rabbits, 15 half-starved Provincial Government surveyors who were lost in the bush were rescued < by airmen. Their plight; was drawn attention to by trappers. The rescued men acclaim their superintendent, Colonel Romeogenet, a hero for compelling them to work and maintain their strength" to avert a panic.
