MARRIED IN ENGLAND

CLARKSON—MUTCH [from our own correspondent] LONDON, Dec. 18 The marriage took place yesterday at St. George's, Hanover Square, of Patrick Wensley, son of the late Mr. George Wensley Clarkson, of Christchurch, and of Mrs. P. S. Crisp, to Eileen Barbara, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Nathan Mutch, of 19 Cavendish Square. The Rev. Archibald Jackson and the Rev. H. C. Montgomery-Camp-bell officiated at the ceremony.

The , bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of oystertinted slipper satin, with a Medici collar and ..a court train. Her veil of old Brussels lace was held in place by a head-dress of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of lilies-of-the-valley. and white roses. She was attended by a page, John Slesingcr, in long trousers and a double-breasted coat of oyster-tinted satin and lace jabot, and a little girl, Josephine Hampton, in a long frock of oyster satin and a pearl Juliet cap. '1 he two bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Gardiner and /Miss Pauline Juler, who wore redingute dresses of coral pinli silk veiled with coral' pink and gold net. Their Juliet caps of gold tissue were shot with coral, and they carried bouquets of roses and chrysanthemums. The matron of honour was Mrs. Maurice Parsons, and Dr. Charles Baker was best man. . After the ceremony the bride s mother held a rece'ption nt 29 Portland Place, which was lent by Sir William Arbuthnot Lane, grandfather of the bride.
