CLAUDELANDS COURSE TRAINERS seek improvements [from OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] I HAMILTON. Monday A request that improved training facilities be provided on the Waikato Trotting Club's course at Claudelands was received at a meeting of tho club on Thursday evening from tho Waikato Trotting Owners, Breeders, and Trainers' Association. Mr. It. T. Keid presided. Tho association asked that a dirt track be constructed inside the rails whore the inside grass track was situated. Mr. Iteid said tho men who wore now asking for a dirt track stated somo time ago that tho grass track would meet their requirements. He considered the training facilities at Claudelands were excellent, but suggested that the jogging track could be improved by scarifying and by laying it down with screened *?nd. It wps decided to advise the association in teirms of the president's remark*.
