LOCAL BODY SALARIES
WAIKATO HOSPITAL BOARD MINIMUM 'AWARD RATES ;[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON", Friday The Waikato Hospital Board decided yesterday to pay the minimum salaries as provided in the award governing the Northern Industrial LocaJ v Authorities' Officers' Union. The. secretary and house manager would be exempt. ; The secretary, Mr. 0. A. Burgess, said the increased salaries involved for the current year in complying with the terms of the award would amount to £67. The board voted £5 to the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association in recognition of the work it had done for tho board. ..
