LICENSING COMMITTEE
TRANSFERS IN AUCKLAND - The Auckland Licensing Committee held its quarterly meetinja; yesterday. Mr. W. R. MeKean, S.M., presided, and there/were also present Mr. W. L. Casey, Mr*J/Grace, Mr. James Pascoe ' and Mr. E. Leydon. The following transfers of licences were granted:—New Criterion Hotel, from Samuel George Watkins, to John Alfred Tate; Ponsonbv Club Hotel, Alfred Adams • to William Edward Grants Carpenters' Arms Hotel, Joseph Bert jam in Dunn to Michael Cahalan; Central Hotel, John Robert Foster to Pefcy Wallace Sampson; Queen's Head / Hotel, Public Trustee to Annie O'Connor.
