CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Sir, —As December greets lis, we are reminded of the imminent approach of Christmas, and our thoughts—seldom off the children committed to our care —are concentrated on what special cheer we can provide for them for the festive season. During the years we have admitted to the Manurewa Children's Home 656, of whom 51 aro at present in residence, and we invito friends and sympathisers to. assist us with special Christmas contributions. Subscribers and others will bo cordially welcomed at the home by the matron. Parcels should be sent direct to the home, and cash contributions to the treasurer. Thos. E. Whitton. P.O.
