LOST OVERBOARD
INQUEST ON FARMER'S DEATH [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION ] WELLINGTON. Thursday A finding that Boy Gordon Forlong, aged 41, a farmer, of Rongotea, was drowned after being lost overboard from the inter-island ferry Wahine, was returned by the coroner, Mr. Gilbertson, at the inquest to-day. Evidence showed that Mr. Forlong, who was on his way to Hanmer Springs, suffering from a nervous trouble, left his cabin at 5 a.m. and was last seen on deck. The body was not recovered, and tho inquest was held by leave of tho Attorney-General.
