PIRATE SHIP CARNIVAL
Attractive entertainnient was preHeiited at the pirate Ship at Milford ° n Saturd ay night when an okl-timo carnival dance was held. There was a large attendance, manv of tlie dancers having taken advantage of the special transport arrangements that- had been tnado for tho occasion. A realistic drop scene from Mpyerbeer's opera "L'-Atri-caine" added to the decorative scheme in the cabaret.. The scenic setting® had been arranged by Mr. Kd ward Armitage. During the evening balloons and streamers weiw distributed among the dancers and a Monte Carlo competition Was held. Popular old-time dance numbers were played by the Pirate Ship orchestra of six instruments.
