PURSES FOR HEAVY-WEIGHT OFFERS TO TOMMY FARR .(Received November 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nor. 20 Besides a joint offer from wealthy American and British sportsmen of £20,000 cash in return for 25 per cent of his earnings in 1038, the Welsh boxer Tommy Farr says he has been offered two fights worth £20,000 in Germany by a famous promoter, whom he is not ablo to name at present. CARNERA CRITICISED MERCILESS FRENCH PRESS (Received November 21, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 20 Primo Camera's manager, Benny Huntman, states that the Italian boxer has been offered another contest in Paris in December, probably with Charlie Rutz, who recently defeated Dimeglio, Camera considers that with two or three weeks' training he will hack to his old form. The press mercilessly criticises Camera. L'Anto says:—"Camera has no more punch, no more legs, no more skill, no more rights, nj more lefts, and no more anything " BOUTS IN AMERICA WIN FOR - ARMSTRONG (Received November 2t, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. Nov. 20 In a boxing match at Detroit, Jimmy Ariamick (1001b) knocked out Maxio Rosenbloom (ISSVaIb) in the second round. Armstrong technically knocked out Billy Beauhull in the fifth round of a bout in New York, thus strergthening his position a« leading contender for the light-weight title. Beauhull previously was unbeaten.
