ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION
PLANS OF THE LEADER PRIOR DOMINION VISIT LONDON, Nov. 3 Mr. Ernest Walker, who plans to lead a scientific expedition to the Antarctic in 1938-40, using New Zealand as his base, will bo accompanied by a geologist, Mr. J. L. Kent, as second-in-command. Other colleagues will accompany the expedition's big yacht, the Westward, which is carrying paying passengers on a world cruise. Mr. Walker, will arrive in New Zealand in the Westward next year and spend a mouth there before returning to England to take out the smaller expedition ship, the Shackleton.
