DARGAVILLE NOTES
PLUNKET CARD EVENING A pleasant evening was held in the Plunket Society's rooms recently in aid of the society funds. Mali jongg and bridge were played and the hostess for the evening was Mrs. C. Astlev. Hie winners of the mail jongg were Mrs. E. Stoddart and Mr. W. R. TVorsley, while Mr. and Mrs. L. Mehrtens were the bridge winners. Among those present were: —Mrs. W. ft. Worslcy, Mrs. E. Grant, Mrs. Dargnville, Mrs. Kirton, Mrs. Angus, Mrs. Hewin, Mrs. Maekay (Whangarei), Mrs. D. Colmore-Williams, Mrs. Holmes, Mrs. Barnard, Mrs. Burton, ]\[rs. Barker, Mrs. Mitchell, Mrs. Marshall, Mrs. Hayes, Mrs. Goulding, Mrs. ]<\ Gould, Mrs..Day, Mrs. C. Harvey, Mrs. Smith, Miss Lloyd, Miss Barker, Miss Richards, Miss Holmes. . Mrs. Alfred Harding, of Aoroa, is visiting Auckland and Wellington. Mrs. T. Morgan, of Portland Street, is touring the North Island. Mrs. McQuinn, of Awakino Road, is spending a few days at VI arkworth. Mrs. Cecil Tills, of Kamo, has returned home alter spending a few days in Dargavillo. Mrs. Drake, Dominion president of the Women's Division of the 1' armors Union, was the guest of Mrs. A. E. Harding during her visit to Dargavillo. Mrs. G. N. Hayes has returned to Dargavillo from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Cort Astley is visiting her mother, Mrs. A. J. Beck, Jsorthcotc.
Mrs. S. Colemore-Williams has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. C. H. Crump, accompanied by Miss Joy Crump, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. J. Hosking lias returned to her homo alter spending a few days in Auckland. Mrs. L. Mehrtens is visiting Auckland. . .
Mrs. ,T. Mackay, of Wliangarei, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. Hcwin, of Gordon Road.
