WEST COUNTRY CLUB
MONTHLY SOCIAL EVENING The monthly social of the Devon and Cornwall Club was held 011 Wednesday evening. The vice-president, Mr. C. Snow, presided. Acting as hostesses were Mrs. K. Cantwell, representing Devoir, and Mrs. R. Jackson, representing Cornwall. The guests of the evening were the president of the Cumberland and Westmorland Club, Mr. E. Parkinson, and Mrs. Parkinson. The musical programme was in the charge of Mrs. Cantwell. Items were given as follows: —Pianoforte solos by Mrs. Hutchings, junior, and Miss B. Harvey; songs by Mesdames L. Harvey and A. Noble; monologue by Mrs. Harvey; and musical sketches by Mr. Spooner, Miss June Harland and Miss Laurel Patten. Among those present were: —Mesdames V. A. Brickell •(secretary), L. Harvey, N.
