ELECTION OF OFFICERS [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Thursday The 51th annual meetinir of the Manku Athletic Club was held in the halt at PaNpiatiue (his week. The president, Mr. W. Sommerville, presided over a good attendance of members. A credit balance of £53 was shown by Ihe balance-sheet. Appreciative reference was made by the president to the generosity of Mr. R. K. Membery in again placing iiis property at (he disposal of the club as a ground for ils annual sports meetinnr. to be held on January 'J'l. Officers elected were:—Patron. Mr. J. N. Massey; president, Mr. Sommerville; vicepresidents, Messrs. M. Irwin and C. Fulton; secretary, Mr. C. J. Shore; trustees, Messrs. Membery and R. S. Broun; delegates to Northern Athletic Union. Messrs. W. E. Johns and W. Finlay; executive, Messrs. Sommer ville, Irwin, Fulton Shore, Johns, P. Needham, T. Short, P. Hirstich, 0. McAlpino, J. Millard, Membery, J. Franklin, and J. Pannage; auditor, Mr. Brown.
