RABBIT DESTRUCTION
BOARD'S AREA EXTENDED [by telegraph—own correspondent] OTOROHAXGA, Thursday A petition 37 settlers of the Tahaia district presented to the Otorohanga Rabbit Board made a request that the board's boundaries be extended to take in 4000 acres of dairying and sheep lands in their area. The board agreed to the request and instructed the secretary, to take the necessary steps. A large portion of the area involved is infested with rabbits and is a menace to the board's present area.
