MR. DONALD ROSS [nv TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WIIANGAII EI, Wednesday Tho death occurred at )iis residence, I'arua Bay, of Mr. Donald Boss, aged 60 years. Born at I'arua Hay, he was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Ross, who were among the earliest settlers in the district. Mr. Boss farmed a 400-acre property at I'arua Bay, which was considered one of the best dairy farms in the Whangarei district. He is survived by his wife, three sous and four daughters. MRS. M. 'lho death has occurred of Mrs. Marion Allen, aged 93, who landed with her parents at fort Chalmers from the ship Phillip Laing in 1848. A large part of her life was spent at Waimate. She returned here on her husband's death in 1911. There are now only two survivors of this emigrant ship. MRS. M. MILLER [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] THAMES, Wednesday The death has occurred of Mrs. Margaret Miller, aged 70 years, who had lived at the Thames for the greater part of her life. Mrs. Miller was born at Matakana and lived at Kawau Island for some years before coming to Thames. She is survived by one son and fea daughter^
