DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE [BY TI'iLECItAI'If —OWN COItItESPONDFAT] ROTORUA. Tuesday A verdict of death from heart failure following immersion in a hot bathing pool at the Kuirati reserve, on the outskirts of the town, wan given by the coroner, Mr. W. L. Kichards, in connection with the rinding of the body of Robert Johnston, aged 70, in a pool in the reserve last Wednesday morning. Martin Sidney Semtnens stated that he observed and spoke to Johnston while deceasod was sitting on a seat near the scene of the tragedy shortly after 0 o'clock the previous evening.* He noticed that deceased had been drinking.
l)r. H. Hertram said deceased had died of heart failure following the shock of being immersed in hot water.
