PREMATURE EXPLOSION
MAN SPLITTING POSTS CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS [BY TELEGRAPH- —OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Thursday Burns extending the full length of his body were received by Mr. John Knight, aged 21, of Tauwharo, this afternoon. He was engaged in splitting poSts when the explosives were_ discharged prematurely, and Mr. Knight roceived their full force. Tho injured man was admitted to tho Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.
