Mr. W. Jackson has sold his Z class boat Tamaki to Mr. C. Williams, of Onehunga. The 18ft. V class boat Sunbeam, lately owned by Messrs. G. Lister and R. Hawer, has been sold by Mn Ij. R. Matthews to Mr. J. Coleman, of Devon port. A fine type of cruiser has almost been completed by Mr. C. Wild for Mr. .T. Blundell. of Napier. The vessel is 40ft. by lift. 6in. and is to be used b.v the owner for trout fishing on Lakn Taupo. Sho has a large cockpit and two cabins, the main being Bft. in length and the forward cabin 7ft. Full j head-room is provided. Her motive power will bo two 70 h.p. Thornycroft engines. She will be known as the Lamorna. » Six new Silver Fern one-design boats will make their appearance on the Waitemata this season. Two boats have already been built, and the other four are expected to bo ready for launching about December. The Heme Bay Sailing Club, which sponsors the class, will elect its npw officers and committee to-morrow evening The commodore, Mr. G. M. Dennes, who has been on a visit to Australia, has returned to Auckland.
