LAND REGISTRAR
THE AUCKLAND OFFICE MR. R. F. BAIRD APPOINTED The post of district land registrar and registrar of deeds at Auckland is to be filled by Mr. R. F. Baird, at present district land registrar and assistant-commissioner of stamp duties at Napier. Since the retirement of the former registrar, Mr. W. Johnston, some months ago, the Auckland registry has been in the charge of Mr. C. R. Keeble, who in turn is due to retire. Mr. Baird, who will take up his duties on November 1, has been stationed at Napier for the past 11 years.
