GIRL GUIDE MOVEMENT
FORMATION OF NEW GROUP The mothers of the Girl Guides and Brownies of the Onewa district, and other friends were entertained at a social afternoon in the Toe H hall. Birkenhead. The district commissioner, Miss R. M. Bodle, presided. A local association was formed for the Onewa Guide district, which embraces Northcote, Birkenhead and Glenfield. The folJowing executive was elected:—Mrs. L. Edwards, Mrs. P. Boorman, Mrs. I. Dare-Jones, Mrs. H. W. Lamb, Mrs. S. T. Carter and Mrs. D. F. W^socki.
