BIRKENHEAD BOROUGH
The Birkenhead Borough Council last night, decided to renew its request to tho Devonport Ferry Company for the restoration of tho full timetable recently operated on tho Chelsea service on Saturdays and Sundays. This was in reply to the company's suggestion that the council should nominate the most important trips that had been cancelled with a view to reconsideration. Traffic signs are to be erected in the vicinity of the Birkenhead ' schools in the interests of the safety of the children.
