Mrs. Fullerton-Smith, in her match against Miss Tolhurst, ,was two up at tho fifth and had increased that lead to four up at the ninth. Tho New Zealander was one up after the next, but the lead was taken from her at the sixth. Three halves followed in fours, sixes and fives respectively. Miss Hutton lost tho 10th to be ono down,, but, by winning the next, she squared the game once more. Wins at the 12th and 13th put Miss Helean two up, but she lost the short 14th, where tho Australian put her tee shot three feet from the pin to enable her to get a two.
