THE LEAGUE CODE
REFEREES' ASSOCIATION Mr. A. Chapman, who has been honorary treasurer far throe years, was appointed by ballot as honorary secretary, in succession to Mr. W. E. Simpson, who has resigned, at the final meeting of the year of the Auckland Rugby League Referees' Association last evening. Tho chairman, Mr. L. E. Bull, gave notice of motion that Mr. Simpson be made a life-member of the association. The chairman of tho social committee, Mr. W. Miucham, am! family, were thanked for assistance given in connection with the annual picnic. Tho good service of tho chairman, executive end the appointments board were acknowledged by resolution.
