The engagement is announced between Florence Elizabeth ("Bennie"), second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Benson, of Alba Road, Epsom, and Birnie William, fourth son of the late Mr. W. A. Carter and Mrs. Carter, of Grange Road, Mount Eden.
