He con--17 tinned well for tho noxt five holes, but it ho missed a short putt on tho loth (1 green and finished with all fives, t Hornabrook had a brilliant run for 5. the first six holes, but he struck trouble at the long seventh, which cost him 7, and he was out in 39. He obn tained par figures at the next three 0 holes and a beautiful iron shot to the 138-yards 14th enabled him to hole e a 2. At this stage he was level with Shaw, but he finished with good figures. Moss was lejt to obtain a 3 at the last to tie with Hornabrook? His e second shot jumped tho bunker but e the ball hit a spectator and finished just off the edge of the green.
