HAMILTON CLUB'S SEASON

The suggestion that it would be better I hat Ihe club should not be represented at regattas if its representatives were not up to standard was made at tlio annual meeting of the Hamilton Rowing Club last uight. The most important undertaking of the year, the king carnival, was marred by adverse weather, stated the report, and the amount raised fell far short of tho required total. The financial result of tho year's working had nevertheless to be regarded us satisfactory. Active rowers numbered 50, a slight decrease on last season's figure. Tho following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. C. H. Holloway; president, Mr. A. M. Bisley; club captain, Mr. I. Duncan; secretary, Mr. P. J. Cusaek; treasurer, Mr. F. G. Bond: committee, Messrs. C. Holmes, E. L. Watkins, D. Paterson. G. Taylor, K. V. Hallidny, J. Clougli, I. W. St. Clair, N. Kirb.v; selection committee, Messrs. 1. W. St. Clair, E. A. Waters, I. Duncan.
