Accused was alleged by a witness who had followed him to have been driving erratically, and to have been a threat both to the witness and a taxicab. The magistrate dismissed the charge of wilful damage. The evidence, he thought, showed that accused hit tho posts in an endeavour to avoid a cyclist. On the other charge accused was convicted and fined £3O and costs. His licence was suspended until June 1, 1939.
