SUPREMACY IN THE BALANCE
RECORD CROWD , ANTICIPATED • The final and deciding Rugby test 4 match between the Springboks and the All Blacks will be played at Eden Park this afternoon. The first test was decided at Wellington on August 14, and' was won by New by 13 points to 7. The second- was played at Christchurch three weeks ago and resulted in a victory for South Africa by 13 points to 6. , • ; ; As honours are now even to-day's match will decide the rubber and has consequently created unprecedented interest. A record crowd of between 50,000 and 60,000 people is expected at Eden Park. / The rival teams rested yesterday and both are rep„orted to be very fit and quietly confident as to the result of", to-day's great game. Unless torrential rain falls the ground should be in good 'order. The scoring in the two tests already played was so even' that few would venture to predict the result of the deciding contest. It is generally admitted that Rugby supremacy as between New Zealand and South Africa is in the balance.
