Levien, S.M., at the Paeroa Magistrate's Court .to-day, when ho fined Charles Meredith, of Hikutaia, who was charged with driving a motor- vehicle on the Maratoto Road on August 5, not. .'being the holdci* of a-licence and being disqualified from holding a licence. Defendant, through h(S solicitor, pleaded guilty. Constable A. J. Maiden said Meredith, had had his licence cancelled byMr. Levien in Papakura on July 3 for being intoxicated in charge of a car. On August 5 defendant had ty-'en caught driving his motor-lorry * on Maratoto Road. '
