MEMBERSHIP OF KLAN
ALLEGATION IN AMERICA RECENTLY-APPOINTED JUDGE (Received September 13, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. Sept. 13 A message from Pittsburg says the Post Gazette has begun publication of a series of articles charging Senator H. LaF. Black, n-lio was recently appointed to the Supreme Court Bench, with having accepted life membership of the Ku Klux Klan on September 2, 1926. It is stated that ho never resigned. The articles quote what are purported to be the official records of the Alabama Klan.
