TAKAPUNA BRANCH The monthly meeting of the Takapuna branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket rooms yesterday. Mrs. G. H. Matthews presided. A vote of sympathy with the relatives of the late Lady Sinclair Lockhart was passed. ... Official notification was received from headquarters of the change from_ oiip nurse to two nurses for the North Shore. Nurse J3j.irsell will continue her work in the Takapuna district and Brown's Bay during four days,_ and one other day will be given to Northcote. The nurse's report for August was as follows: —Takapuna, new cases, 8; visits to homes, 35; visits to rooms, adults, 147, babies, 133, children, 31; box money, £1 Os 9d. For Belmont the figures were: —New cases, 2; visits to homes, 3; visits to rooms, adults, 44, babies, 43, children, 8; box money. 7s 6d. .
