CONTROL OF RAGWORT
OHINEMURI ALLOCATION [by telegraph—own correspondent] PAEROa, Monday An allocation of £ISOO for ragwort eradication has been mado to the Ohinemuri County Council by the Department of Agriculture, according to advice received bv the council at it# meeting. The,grant was made subject to the same conditions as apply to other counties. The county chairman, Mr. W. Marshall, reported that the work was well under way, but tha shortage of iron was retarding progress.
