P. Collins, in the Police Court todav. Mrs. M. M. MeLelland was charged that as* proprietress she failed to'kecp a correct wages and time book in respect of the cook, Mrs. I. Coverdale, who was charged with signing an incorrect wages and time book. Mr. R. K. Trimmer, who appeared for defendants, entered a plea of guilty to b6th charges.

Mr. Collins said that Mrs. Coverdale was a somewhat domineering employee, and had tho opinion that the kitchen could not function without her assistance.
