OPERATIC SOCIETY
AN ENJOYABLE DANCE MEMORIES' OF " SALLY " liappv memories of the Auckland Amateur Operatic Society's recent production of "Sally" wero revived at a dance held in the Show Boat last night for active members of the society and frorit-of-the-house helpers during the production. "Look for the Silver and other popular songs from "Sally" were played by the orchestra and sung wholeheartedly by members of the cast who wero present. Bae, in black Chantilly lace; Mrs. Mcllroy, ,cyclamen satin; Mrs. Hector Sinclair, black and white patterned cloque; Miss Ethel Bae, black marocain; Miss E. McCarty, apple green taffetas; _ Miss Lesley Bae, lettuce green floral chiffon; Miss. Molly Creagb, black taffetas; Miss Gladys Fowler, black georgette; .Miss I. McLennan (Wellington), geranium red 'crinkled crepe; Miss Nora Phillipps, rose and blue patterned crepe suede; Miss Edith Graham, black taffetas; Miss Peggy Leo, parmaviolet taffetas; Miss Joan • Maguinoss, Erin-green taffqtas; Miss Eva' Pierce, pervenche blue floral chiffon; Miss Doris McGowan, black and floral tunic frock; Miss Brenda Brown, royal blue and gold shot taffetas; Miss Marjorie Ceruttv, black and apple-green tunic frock; "Miss W. Clements, duchess blue taffetas; Miss Shirley Burchcr, black taffetas with a scarlet and white handed hem; Alius Esmo Burchcr, facquer red ripple chiffon; Miss Eva Balt'e, white net and white satin redingote frock; Miss Nancy Lornie, primrose cloque; Miss Gladys Ryan, wedgwood blue cloque; Miss Tally Nettleton, Wallis blue ottoman »silk; : Miss Joan Thomson, geranium red souple satin; Miss Doreen Saunders, forgot-me-uot blue crepe romaine.
